    2. Marketing Communications: You can opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions included in our emails or by contacting us directly.
    3. Cookies: You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect your experience with Gevme Wallet.

    We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

  6. Data Retention

    We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Accounts that are inactive for 9 months will be deleted. We will send an email warning before the deletion of your account.

    Please be noted that should you not consent and provide us with the relevant personal data to fulfil the “Purposes” of collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by us, it may hinder our ability to continue to interact with you and we may not be able to fulfil the Purposes listed in this Personal Data Protection Policy, under “Collection, use and disclosure of personal data” Section.

  9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through Gevme Wallet. Your continued use of Gevme Wallet after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

Data Retention Policy Update Notice

As part of our ongoing commitment to data privacy and security, we are updating our data retention policy. In alignment with our Data Protection Trustmark certification requirements, we have modified how long we retain customer data after subscription termination.
Key Change: Customer data will now be retained for 2 years after subscription termination (reduced from 5 years). This change takes effect from January 1, 2025.
