Attendees Terms of Use

1. Definitions

        1.1.  Unless the context otherwise requires, the following words and expressions shall have the following meanings in these Terms of Use:

“Attendee” is an individual or entity who has registered an account for the purposes of attending an event;

“Client” is an individual or entity who has entered into an event management agreement with Gevme;

“GlobalSign.In” is an event management company that is located at their registered address, 28 Genting Lane, #01-01 Platinum 28, Singapore 349585 with Company Registration Number 200704830D and for the purposes of this agreement referred to as “GSI” and/or “Company” where applicable.

“Service” includes the Gevme’s event management platform, applications, technological tools, products, features and offering that is made available by GSI to its clients and/or attendees

2. In these Terms of Use:

   (i) references in these Terms of Use to statutory provisions shall be construed as references to those provisions as        respectively replaced or amended or re-enacted from time to time; and

   (ii) words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa, words importing a gender include every gender and references to persons include body corporate or unincorporated

   (iii) headings are for convenience only and shall not be considered in the construction or interpretation of any of the provisions in these Terms of Use.

3. Acceptance of Terms

   3.1.  By using the Services, the attendees signify their agreement to (1) these Terms of Use and (2) the Privacy Policy found at https://www.gevme.com/attendees-privacy incorporated here in by reference.

4. Description of Gevme

GEVME is a platform utilized by our Clients to allow Attendees to register their attendance at events. For events whereby payment transactions are carried out between our Clients and the Attendees, such a transaction is between the payor and payee and GSI shall bear no responsibility whatsoever in the event of a dispute between the payor and payee (for instance, the responsibility of refunding payments in the event of a cancelled event is not binding on GSI).

5. Use of Service
GSI hereby grants attendees permission to access to the event and use the Service as set forth in these Terms of Service, subject to the following conditions:

     5.1.    Attendees agree not to distribute in any medium any part of the Service without GSI’s prior written authorization.
     5.2.   Attendees agree not to alter or modify any part of the Service. For the purposes of these Terms of Use, the following non-exhaustive list of actions, constitute alteration or modifications of the Service:
            (i)   Changing the source code;
            (ii)  Addition, modification, removal of any component of the Service
            (iii) Mining of information from the platform
     5.3   Attendees agree not to access the Service through any technology or means other than those authorized by GSI;
     5.4.  Attendees agree not to use the Service for any of the following commercial uses prior to GSI’s written approval is obtained:
            (i)  the sale of access to any part of the Service;
            (ii)  the sale of advertising, sponsorship or promotions placed on or within the Service
     5.5. Attendees agree not to modify, build upon, or block any portion or functionality of the Service.
     5.6. Attendees agree that in their use of the Service, all applicable laws will be complied with.


6. Prohibited Use
For the purposes of these Terms of Use, prohibited use includes, but is not limited to (“prohibited use”):
     6.1 Sharing of accounts by Attendees, with any other person who is not the registered holder of said account.
     6.2 the access and use of any account, by a person who is not a registered holder of that account, regardless of whether that person may be a holder of another account; and
     6.3 any violations of Clause 5 of these Terms of Use; and
     6.4 Spamming and other malicious activity
     6.5 the usage of the Service for any illegal and immoral purposes
In the event, that Attendees detect or suspect that there is a breach of security and/or prohibited use of their accounts, clients must notify GSI immediately.
GSI reserves the right to decide whether any Attendees has violated these Terms of Use

7. Attendees Registration
Attendees who have given their consent to the Terms of Use and completed the registration application will be granted event access upon the completion of the registration procedures. The registration application is to be carried out by the Attendee personally. Registration by a representative will not be recognized. Any person younger than 16 years of age is not allowed to register for any event as an Attendee. Any Attendee younger than 20 years of age will require parental consent before making the registration and by completing the registration process, such Attendee will be deemed to have obtained the necessary parental consent.

8. Inputting of Registration Information

When registering as an Attendee, please accurately enter all necessary information as required in the registration form.

9. Privacy Policy and Data Protection

     9.1.  Clients agree that by using this Service, they have read the Privacy Policy located at https://www.gevme.com/attendees-privacy, and are consenting to the data practices described therein.

10. Third parties

    10.1. The Service may contain links to third party websites and content that are not owned or controlled by GSI. GSI does not assume any responsibility for the content, privacy policies, terms of use, or practices of any third-party websites.

    10.2. The Service may contain posts and information from third party websites and content that are not owned or controlled by GSI. GSI does not assume any responsibility for the content, privacy policies, terms of use, or practices of any third-party websites.

    10.3.  The client acknowledges and affirms that GSI will not and cannot censor, verify or edit the content of any third-party site. By using the Service, clients hereby relieve GSI, from any and all liability arising from their own use of any third-party websites and/or their postings on our Service.

    10.4.  Accordingly, we encourage attendees to be aware when they leave the Service and to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any other website that they visit.

11. Disclaimer and warranties

    11.1.  Attendees hereby agree that their use of the Service shall be at their sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GSI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the use of the Service and the attendees’ use thereof.

    11.2. GSI makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the content accessed or the content or any sites linked to the Service and assumes no responsibility for any:-

       (i)    Errors, mistakes or inaccuracies of the content;
       (ii)   Injury, damage or loss of any nature whatsoever resulting from the client’s access and use of the Service;
       (iii).  Any unauthorized access or use of the client’s account and/or any and all personal information and/or financial information stored therein;
       (iv)  Any interruption or cessation of transmission to and from the Service;
       (v).  Any viruses, Trojan Horse or the like which may be transmitted to or through the service by any third party; and/or 
       (vi).  Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content via the Service.

12. Limitation of liability

    12.1.  In no event shall GSI be liable to Attendees for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages whatsoever resulting from:-

        (i)     Errors, mistakes or inaccuracies of the content;
        (ii).    Injury, damage or loss of any nature whatsoever resulting from the client’s access and use of the Service;
        (iii).   Any unauthorized access or use of the client’s account and/or any and all personal information and/or financial information stored therein;
        (iv)   Any interruption or cessation of transmission to and from the Service;
        (v).   Any viruses, Trojan Horse or the like which may be transmitted to or through the service by any third party; and/or
        (vi).  Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content via the Service.

10.2 Notwithstanding 10.1 above, in the event GSI is found liable for any reason, GSI’s liability shall not exceed the total aggregate amount paid by the respective client for the Service. If no fee has been paid, GSI shall not retain any liability.

13. Entire Agreement

      13.1  These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Service, shall constitute the entire agreement between Attendees, and GSI.

14. Revision of agreement

     14.1.  GSI may, at its role discretion, modify or revise these Terms of Use and/or Privacy Policy at any time, without prior notice provided to any client. Clients, hereby agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. Nothing in these Terms of Use shall be deemed to confer any third-party rights or benefits.
     14.2. GSI reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time and without notice, and it is the respective responsibilities of clients and attendees to review these Terms of Use from time to time for any changes. Clients’ and attendees’ use of the Service following any amendment of these Terms of Use will signify clients’ and/or attendees’ assent to, and acceptance of the modified and/or revised terms of these Terms of Use.
