KidsSTOP STEAM Festival proudly presents 'Magic Mee Goreng' Puppetry Performance

Celebrate Children’s Day with an immersive, inclusive puppetry performance that is suitable for children of all backgrounds.
'Magic Mee Goreng' is a highly interactive and exciting show that focuses on various food and science-related topics. Inspired by the theme of food, the show aims to engender the appreciation of the joys of food in 
children. Come along with us as we take you to a town famous for their food and as we tell the story of a man determined to find out the secrets behind the success of a Mee Goreng store.
Featuring elements of shadow puppetry, batik-inspired costumes, hands-on activities, and catchy tunes, the show will take children on a sensory adventure. Children can expect to be hooked throughout the show and to 
leave with a lasting impression on topics such as the joys and science of food.

Join Dr Shaun Sim as he shares with us on Singapore's food security and the technologies behind novel foods.
Scientists from our various partners will also be at our interactive mini lectures and booths to interact with you!

Young Energy Saver Trail: Energy is all around us! Learn about how humanity has advanced through the discovery and application of
different energy sources. Learn about the importance of energy conservation as a consumer so that we can work towards a sustainable earth!
After completing the trail, you will earn an "I am a Young Energy Saver" badge and e-certificate!

Young Engineer Trail: Explore engineering innovations while saving the world through the "Young Engineer Trail" at the Future Makers Exhibition. 
You will learn how engineers from different disciplines and skills are always looking for new ways to solve problems and improve our lives. 
You will find the strategies within nature to solve human design challenges. 
After completing the trail, you will earn an "I am a Young Engineer" badge and e-certificate!

Young Ecologist Trail: How do animals adapt to their environment? How are living things connected in an ecosystem? Meet some of these animals up close and personal! Through this Young Ecologist trail, you will discover how fascinating nature can be.You get to earn an 'I Am Young Ecologist Badge' and e-certificate too! 

Young Geneticist Trail: Take a peek into the world of genetics as you take on the DNA corridor as a Young Geneticist. Find out more about the source that makes up who we are and how we look like, and you might just discover how much is packed into one tiny cell.
After completing the trail, you will earn an "I am a Young Geneticist" badge and e-certificate!
