Following the launch of MeetSG, the first country destination WeChat mini programme in the world for business events and meetings, SACEOS is organising this capabilities workshop to empower the industry with knowledge and practical tips on how to leverage a mobile social media platform, such as WeChat, for marketing and communicating.
Statistics have shown that 1.2 billion worldwide use the WeChat platform to communicate, consume information, transact and pay for products and services. Understanding how your organisation can leverage the WeChat platform and how your communications can be enhanced at each of these touchpoints in the customer journey, you can be empowered with new age digital and mobile marketing tools to better engage and create opportunities for your business.

Ben graduated from the University of Oxford for his Postgraduate studies in Business and The Australian National University with Economics Degree.

Mr. Gu Xuebin has served multinational companies such as IBM and Mellon Bank in China and the United States and has long held IT and project management positions. He has obtained a number of certifications from the United States IAEE Registered Exhibition Manager (CEM), the Project Management Institute Project Management Specialist ( PMP ), and the IBM Certified System Expert.
Mr. Gu Xuebin is currently a registered lecturer in the United States IAEE Registered Exhibition Manager (CEM) and has taught CEM exhibition information management courses for the past 13 years. Since 2017, he has been the chairman of the Asian Committee of the IAEE International Exhibition and Project Association, dedicated to serving the development of the Asian convention and exhibition industry.
