With ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) successfully concluded in Kuala Lumpur in November 2015, bi-lateral trades among the 10 member states are set to increase drastically. The AEC Blueprint will transform ASEAN into a single market and production base, a highly competitive economic region, a region of equitable economic development, and a region fully integrated into the global economy. MTC envisages against this backdrop will see corresponding growth and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in member countries especially those favoring manufacturing sector like Thailand; Vietnam and Indonesia.
