The annual Transplant Hepatology Preceptorship Programme is in its 4th edition since its inauguration in 2016. It aims to support scientific continual education and the extension of knowledge base in liver transplantation in developing countries of this region.

Eligible trainees and fellows will be awarded with travel grants to attend the Transplant Hepatology Workshop and The Transplant Colloquium Main Symposium in Singapore.

Travel Grant

Successful applicants will receive a travel grant which will cover:

  • Registration fees for the Transplant Hepatology Workshop and The Transplant Colloquium Main Symposium
  • 2 nights’ accommodation in Singapore (at selected hotel)
  • 1-year ILTS membership subscription
Who should apply?
  • Hepatology trainees and fellows
  • Medical trainees with an interest in liver transplant
  • Nurses / transplant coordinators / allied healthcare professionals involved in the care of liver transplant patients
Application guidelines
  • Submit an interesting transplant hepatology case from your experience in your home institution which can be used for interactive case-based discussions at the Transplant Hepatology Workshop.
  • The case should center around one of the following topics:
    • Acute on chronic liver failure
    • Issues with Infectious diseases
    • Immunosuppression
    • New onset diabetes after transplant
    • Hepatitis B flare
  • In no more than 10 slides, summarize the case and its learning points.
Terms and Conditions
  • The cases submitted will be reviewed by a jury of transplant clinicians and the judges’ decision is final.
  • Only non-residents of Singapore may apply
