About the Artist:
Joe Ang Kian Hoe (b.1996) is an avid painter and visual artist based in Singapore. He specialises in oil painting and has graduated with a diploma at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2016. His current works challenge the idea of traditional canvas painting techniques. He has since moved on to create works on metal and continues to look for ways to innovate on the materiality of a painting. He was also an artist in the NUSS Paint-a-Portrait Project in 2015.
