Student Welcome Reception in Melbourne 2024
We are thrilled to bring back the annual Student Welcome Reception in Melbourne again. This event is for all Singaporean students studying in one of the Universities in Victoria. There will be food, games, lucky draw prizes and new friends to be made!
This year's event is jointly organised by Singapore Students Society of The University of Melbourne, Singapore Association of Monash, Singapore Society of Caulfield, and Singapore Medical Society of Victoria, RMIT SSA, and sponsored by the Singapore Global Network.
Registration is necessary so please take a moment to fill up the form.
Event fee is AUD15 and payment wil be arranged by the respective Singapore Student Assocations after registration.

The Singapore Students Society of The University of Melbourne (SSSUOM)
SSUOM is an organization that aims to provide a support network for Singaporean students to meet and interact with one another to recreate a ‘Singaporean Identity’ to help members feel at home away from home. We actively encourage Singaporeans to appreciate our heritage & culture through various activities.
Singapore Association of Monash (SAM)
SAM is a non-profit, youth oriented organisation. We run various events throughout the year and we are open to all students. We strive to help our members experience the Singaporean culture and foster a tight-knit community here at Monash University.
Singapore Society of Caulfield (SSC)
SSC aims to help Singaporeans with settling into life at Monash by hosting a range of social and cultural activities. We welcome people from all cultural backgrounds to join us and we will introduce you to the food and culture of Singapore. We hope to be a home away from home for Singaporeans and give you support and comfort in an unfamiliar environment.
Singapore Medical Society Victoria (SMSV)
SMSV's mission is to reach out and provide support to both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students from both the University of Melbourne and Monash University while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
RMIT University Singapore Students' Association (RMIT SSA)
RMIT Singapore Students' Association was created to help Singaporean Students at RMIT University find a home away from home. Through social and cultural events, RMIT SSA aims to bring Singaporean culture to Melbourne, create a space where students can find friends, and most importantly, a sense of community.
