Starbucks Reserve Coffee Seminar
At Starbucks we relentlessly search the world for the best coffees to create a truly one of a kind experience. Every so often, we find something special in the most unlikely places—something we can't wait to bring home and share.
For these unique, small-lot coffees, we created Starbucks Reserve®, an ongoing series of our rarest and most exotic coffees. Join us as on a journey of discovering these rare and distinctive beans and learn more about each coffee's inherent flavor qualities.
On 19 Jan, discover exceptional Starbucks Reserve™ Sun-dried Tanzania Mount Meru and Starbucks Reserve™ Peru El Lirio. Experience the evolution of its flavors through the Chemex and French Press brewing process and learn about the story behind each coffee.

Like a song, some coffees soothe. Others stun. This sun-dried lot from the fertile slopes of Mt. Meru is the latter. Long before it reaches our cups, coffee is a tropical shrub whose seeds are our beloved beans. When the freshly picked, ripe red fruit is dried in the sun— in this case, for up to three weeks—the result is a coffee bursting with flavor. Fig, grape, dark chocolate, ripe cherry, raspberry: the nuances you might detect are nearly limitless. Explore. Discover. Enjoy.

El Lirio, “the lily”, is not only a beautiful flower native to Peru, but also the name of agronomist Omar Banda’s hometown, where he returned to help his coffee farm and the region flourish. Establishing his farm as a showcase, Omar shared his knowledge, helped improve quality and productivity, and built partnerships and trust with a community of local smallholder farmers— cultivating respect in the Peruvian specialty coffee market. Harvested in high altitude with an abundance of flora, these beans can take days to transport from this remote place. Join us, as we savor this aromatic cup.
Experience these two exceptional coffees in our 90-minute tasting experience with our resident Coffee Masters. Attendees will also receive a Starbucks goodie bag.
