This collaboration is in celebration of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and the United Arab Emirates this year which is also Singaporeโs 60th year of independence!  "Wonderland" (2024), directed by Chai Yee Wei, weaves a delicate tale of family, love, sacrifice, and human connection, set against the backdrop of 1980s Singapore. The film has earned multiple accolades including the Local Jury Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor awards at the Ho Chi Minh International Film Festival, and recognition as a โMost Anticipated Chinese Language Filmโ at the 37th Golden Rooster Awards.
