Show You Can! 2021

The theme for Abbott GROW show You Can!2021 is The Nature Adventure. It aims to instill the importance of outdoor learning and explore different ways of interacting and protecting the Nature through a five-minute performance. This performance will allow children to develop confidence, cultivate interest in Science and the Arts, as well as deepen their understanding on environmental awareness. The top three teams will be invited to showcase their performance at our annual KidsSTOP™ STEAM Festival in October 2021.

Closing Registration Date: 16 Apr 2021
Online Video Submission: 7 May 2021
Grand Finals: 16 Jul 2021
Age Group: 4-6 years old (up to 10 children per team)
Registration Fee: $25 per team

Competition Rules

• Each school can send as MANY teams as desired
• Each team can consist of up to 10 children (excluding backstage helpers)
• Participants must be age between 4 - 6 years old
• Performances should not exceed 5 minutes
• Performances should be in English
• Props used should as far as possible be made by children using recycled materials
• Content and props used in the performance MUST remain the same for both auditions and Grand Finals

-  Creative use of props
-  Creative execution of skit

Overall Presentation 20%
-  Display confidence and enjoyment during the performance
-  Ability to clearly express the intended messages
