About the Panellists
Alf Carlesäter
Has been in Singapore for 25 years and coming. Alf is a senior HR leader with over 20 years of experience shaping people and organisation strategies across APAC, EMEA, and the US. He has worked closely with executive teams through periods of growth, transformation, and operating model change, with a focus on building practical HR foundations that scale across markets.
Alf has held regional and global leadership roles at General Electric, Meta, and most recently Braze, where he rebuilt and led the APAC People function. His work spans joint ventures, M&A integration, crisis management, and regional execution in complex, matrixed environments. He brings a pragmatic, people-centred, and data-informed perspective to leadership, and also undertakes selective advisory and coaching work through GROW HR Consulting.
Boonsri Srinivasan
Is the founder of Startup Kids Club, a Singapore-based educational organisation that teaches children entrepreneurship, coding, and emerging technologies through hands-on experiences. Originally from Florida, she holds a bachelor's and master's degree in chemical engineering. A former science and technology journalist and video producer, she brings analytical rigour and storytelling expertise to her work. Her philosophy—"start ugly, start fast, start now"—encourages children to embrace risk-taking and learn by doing, making complex concepts accessible through immersion with cutting edge technology. When not community building, she's using AI tools to explore new ways of storytelling and make more interactive and accessible learning experiences.
Daniel Leung
Is the Country Manager for ACCA Singapore where he is responsible for engagement with our students, members, employers and public affairs. He works closely with our membership, employers, learning and policy teams to deliver ACCA's Singapore strategic priorities and deliver change for public good. He has oversight for Singapore and often liaise with our regional and global teams to facilitate cross-border engagements and industry visits.
Prior to joining ACCA, Daniel spent over 15 years working at Deloitte, HSBC, Barclays and Santander across London and Singapore. At Deloitte, Daniel provided Regulatory Advisory Services to Financial Services Clients and was involved in several high profile engagements including. This included an industry wide Regulatory Remediation project on behalf of the Financial Conduct Authority for one of the largest banks in the world. He was involved in assisting a major global bank headquartered in the UK to comply with the Ring-Fencing legislation. He was also seconded to the internal audit teams of clients to undertake internal control reviews. Daniel was part of the Deloitte Fintech Team and Deloitte Multicultural Network.
Daniel has experience across Compliance, Operational Risk, Change Management, Conduct Risk and Finance Transformation. This included working closely with stakeholders across the bank and providing independent review and challenge to their risk management processes.
He is a fellow of ACCA and qualified during this training contract with Deloitte London and is a member of Singapore Institute of Directors. Daniel is actively involved with the diversity and inclusion panel at the British Chamber of Commerce to raising awareness and promoting D&I in the workplace.
