RULES AND PROCEDURES
The Raya Talent Challenge @QT (herein referred to as “Talent Show”) will be a contest where you can participate by uploading video showing your talent on Tik tok and hashtag #QTrayatalentchallenge. Management’s decision will be final. Those interested in competing/performing in the Talent Show (herein referred to as “contestant/Performer”) must read the following Rules and Procedures. Registration will be opened from April 23, 2022 and closed by May 15, 2022, video must be uploaded to Tik Tok by May 15, 2022. RULES AND PROCEDURES
*Interested Participants are to strictly adhere to the latest SMM guidelines as per given by MOH.
Queenstown Constituency reserves the right to cancel or restrict a particular performance, even if the performance does not violate a rule. The decisions made by judges or the show’s organisers in setting rules or evaluating a performance are considered final and are not subject to complaint or alteration.
1. A variety of entertainment is encouraged – singing, playing a musical instrument(s), dancing, performing skits, magic tricks, poetry reading, stand-up comedy, juggling, or any other unique talent. Performers may be solo, duets, or in groups of up to 5. Animal performances are not allowed.
2. The show requires that acts be family-friendly – no profanity, sexual, nudity, or violence is allowed. They must also be safe, forbid acts that involve fire or in which performers risk injury.
3. The Talent show is a family-oriented event. All acts, lyrics, dancing, costumes, attire, language, and behaviour must be appropriate for all ages and at the expense of the participant.
4. Performance’s duration should not exceed 2 minutes.
5. Any performance that exceeded the 2 minutes time frame will be disqualified.
6. Performers allowed to perform with multiple talent at one time, so long as the performances are within 2 minutes. Eg: performing a musical instrument coupled with a juggling act will be allowed.
7. The results of the Talent Show are final and will not be opened to discussion.
8. All video must be uploaded to Tik Tok and hashtag #QTrayatalentchallenge 11:59Hr May 15, 2022.
9. Performer(s) is/are responsible for their own props and costumes/attire.
10. Granting of Exclusive Rights
- To record all performances on Tik Tok with regards to this “QTrayatalentchallenge!”.
- To use recording for the purposes of reproduction, including but not limiting to public display, distribution on air broadcasting, advertising, without time-based or territorial restrictions, and shall also permit such use by third parties, at no cost from all performers.
11. Modifications of Terms and Conditions
Queenstown Constituency reserves the right to change or modify the terms and condition stipulated in the form, anytime at their sole discretion without consultation.
12. Date Change
In view of SMM guidelines, Queenstown Constituency reserves the right to change Date of this Talent Show.
13. Registrations Criteria
Registrations are to residents within the Queenstown Constituency.
12. Scoring Weightage
There will be three (3) judges for this event. Judging will be based on the following criteria:
| Poise (confidence and charismatic) | 10 possible points |
| “Tik Tok Like” | 10 possible points |
| Physical Appearance (choice of costume presentation in relation to the performance) | 10 possible points |
| Talent (music, ability, coordination, etc) | 50 possible points |
| Overall Impression | 20 possible points |
13. Prize Reward
