QT SCEC 51st Chess Competition 2022
The Championship will be organised and played according to the FIDE Laws of Chess
and the FIDE Rules for 60-minute chess.
The schedule for the Championship is as follows:
27 August 2022, Saturday
Round 1 9.00am to 11.00am
Round 2 11.30am to 1.30pm
Round 3 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Round 4 5.00pm to 7.00pm
28 August 2022, Sunday
Round 5 9.00am to 11.00am
Round 6 11.30am to 1.30pm
Round 7 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Prize giving 5.30pm to 6.30pm
System: Swiss System of 7 rounds.
Format: The tournament will be divided into 2 sections:
Open Section : Open to all participants.
Novice Section : Open only to participants with no FIDE rating.
Prizes: The first prize for the Open Section is $400.00 and $200.00 for the Novice Section. All other prizes will be announced during the tournament.
