PAddle 'N' Klean Challenge at Passion WaVe @ Pasir Ris between the dates of 1 to 31 December 2021
Join our PAddle 'N' Klean Challenge by renting a kayak or Stand Up Paddle (SUP) at any participating PAssion WaVe outlet to earn points by completing tasks. Points can be accumulated over multiple visits within the challenge period (1 - 31 Dec 2021) during rental operating hours. Each team can have a maximum of 5pax and the top 10 teams stand a chance to win attractive prizes!
Task 1: Track and verify your paddling distance (Kayak):
Kayak: 1km = 1pt awarded
Task 2: Do a Kayak clean up
Weight of litter collected: 1kg = 5pts awarded
No points will be awarded if participants do not complete any task and proceed with a normal rental session.
*Participants will have to bring their own tracking devices/apps to record their paddling distance and verify completion with staff.
* Weight of marine litter collected must be weighed and verified by staff.
*Participants will need to download Green Day app and register using their email address to record point data and view real-time leaderboard.
Prizes
1st place: $100 NTUC vouchers
2nd place: $80 NTUC vouchers
3rd place: $60 NTUC vouchers
4th place: $40 NTUC vouchers
5th - 10th place: $20 NTUC vouchers
Registration
Registration slots at PAssion WaVe @ Pasir Ris are released weekly and opens every Monday for the current week.

20 Dec (Mon), for 22 to 26 Dec 2021 (Closed on 25 Dec 2021 - Public Holiday)

Rental of Kayaks are only available from Wednesdays to Sundays (except Public Holidays), subject to availability.

*Limited number of individual lockers are available for rental. Please make a seperate payment over the counter via credit card (Visa/Master) or PayWave on the day of rental. The rate for PAssion Card Member is $1/locker and $2/locker for Non-Member.

- This activity is recommended for participants aged 12 to 59 years old (Minimum age of 12 years old).
- No rescheduling and/or refunds will be made upon completion of payment (i.e. inclement weather, unable to attend session).
- Participants are encouraged to dress in sports attire with covered footwear.
- All rental users are to adhere to the Safe Management Measures in accordance to the National guidelines.
COVID-19 measures
From 1 Dec 2021, Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) will be implemented for all classes/activities regardless mask-on/off, indoor/outdoor.
An individual is considered vaccinated* if he/she has:
a) Received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organisation Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) vaccines including their respective duration post
vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective and had their vaccination records ingested in MOH’s national IT systems.Individuals who are vaccinated
overseas will be considered as fully vaccinated only if their vaccination records have been captured in MOH’s national IT systems, after a COVID-19
serology test is performed by a MOH approved healthcare provider.
or
b) Recovered from COVID 19 and can provide a valid Pre Event Test (PET) exemption notice for the duration of the class/activity from an MOH approved
COVID 19 test provider.
As children below 12 years old (born 2009 and after) are currently ineligible for any COVID-19 vaccine under the national vaccination programme , for their safety, they will be allowed to participate in indoor mask off classes/activities without needing to take any PET, only if all of below conditions are met:
a) Limited to max 5pax per group
b) All children (12 years and below) must be from the same household.
Participants placed on Leave of Absence (LOA) or Approved Absence (AA) by their schools/companies as a precautionary measure, or individuals who are on a Stay Home Notice (SHN), or Home Quarantine Order (HQO) or are issued with Health Risk Warning (HRW) by MOH, are not allowed to attend the activity.
If any of your household member is under HQO/SHN/HRW or LOA (for e.g. due to HRW), you would need to self-isolate at home as well until the household member receives a negative COVID-19 PCR test result, is well, and if MOH permits the resumption of daily activity.
Any participants issued with HRA is strongly encouraged to undergo PCR testing at MOH-approved COVID-19 test clinic and attend the activity only after negative result is received.
Participants who have just received their vaccinations, are not recommended to register for this activity and refrain from any physical activity for 1 week.
Participants are to adhere to the prevailing Safe Management Measure guidelines and observe safe distance spacing between individuals/groups. Intermingling between groups are not allowed.
