Dear Fellow Members,

As part of its mission to foster a strong relationship with NUS students, the Alumni Development (AD) Sub-Committee of NUSS had launched the NUSS-NUS Mentorship Programme in 2012 to engage the undergraduates.

We strongly encourage you and welcome you to be part of this mentorship programme as a mentor.

The NUSS-NUS Mentorship Programme is a collaboration between NUSS and NUS Centre for Future-ready Graduates and is currently open to all NUS undergraduates Year 2 and above.

The programme serves as a channel for NUSS members to contribute and share their life experiences with the students. The primary objectives of the programme are to:
  • Establish a platform for students to share and learn from mentors for their holistic development;
  • Facilitate smoother university-to-work transition for students in areas of communication and interpersonal skills by providing them with professional and industry guidance; and
  • Promote networking opportunities between students and the graduate communities.
Mentors may state a preference for the kind of mentees they are interested to engage. During the matching process, both the AD Sub-Committee and NUS Centre for Future-ready Graduates will review and conduct the matching based on mentee’s preferences first, followed by mentor’s preferences, the relevance of the mentor’s expertise, and the course in which the mentee is undertaking. The programme will last for one year from October 2026 to September 2027. Meetings with mentees can be in the form of face-to-face discussions, tea/lunch appointments or office visits.

If you are keen to participate in this programme, kindly complete the application form below by 3rd July 2026. Please be informed that there is a screening process and we will inform you once you are confirmed for the programme. Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Ms Lydia at 6586 3730 or email her at mship@nuss.org.sg.

We hope to hear from you and we look forward to your support.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely,
Alumni Development (AD) Sub-Committee
