🌟 Dive into a World of Coastal Wonders!
Join us for an unforgettable Family Night - Intertidal Walk at Punggol Promenade with marine educators from Young Nautilus! This isn’t just any walk — it’s a journey through the mysteries of the sea under the stars. With UV torches in hand, spot hidden marine creatures, complete a secret quest, and do your part for nature with a mini coastal cleanup.
This is more than just a walk — it’s an interactive and educational experience curated specially for NUSS members, with two added activities to make the night even more memorable.
1. Interactive Marine-Themed UV Quest: Participants will be invited to "collect" hidden illustrations of endangered species at designated "stations". These illustrations will only be visible under UV torchlight, and by the end of the walk, participants will uncover a cryptic message. This activity is designed to be engaging and educational, adding an element of discovery to the walk.
2. Coastal Clean-up: This activity will allow participants to contribute to environmental conservation, providing a meaningful add-on to the nature walk.
The 2hrs brief itinerary would be:
15 Mins - Introduction, Safety briefing and Toilet Break
75 Mins - Punggol Promenade Pebbly Intertidal Walk (with checklist & UV Quest)
15 Mins - Mini Coastal Cleanup
15 Mins - Conclusion, Souvenirs & Good-byes!
Terms & Conditions:
-Â Â Â Registration end on 5 September 2025
-Â Â Â Minimum 10 pax to commence the event
-Â Â Â Registration based on first-come-first-served basis
-Â Â Â Price stated are subjected to prevailing GST
-Â Â Â Fees will be charged to membership account
-Â Â Â Please note that you should receive the workshop status email at least 7 working days before commencement date. Otherwise, please email to carollee@nuss.org.sg
Cancellation Policy:
•   Written cancellations received at least 10 days before the event date are acceptable.

Wet Weather
For wet weather, we will be monitoring the weather forecast closely prior to the walk. In the event if it unexpectedly rains heavily (lightning risk) during the programme, we will commence our wet weather programmes such as interaction with artefacts (e.g. seahorses, horseshoe crabs) under sheltered pavilions. The walk will continue once the weather clears up, and deemed suitable to continue.
Should there be only light showers, we will proceed with wet gears (umbrella and raincoat).
