Dr Tan Shi Ming is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Singapore General Hospital and an Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School. He is a fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery, particularly for conditions such as sports injuries, osteoarthritis and foot deformities
In 2021, he was awarded a MOH Scholarship and successfully completed a comprehensive foot and ankle stint in Bristol (United Kingdom) where he learned a wide variety of arthroscopic, minimally-invasive and conventional techniques in foot and ankle surgery. This substantially-increased the repertoire of surgical skills has enabled him to provide his patients with greater choices and improved outcomes for their foot and ankle treatments.
