Infrastructure Development Internship (IDI) Programme

Over the next decade, the infrastructure market in Asia is expected to grow 7-8% annually. The market is projected to reach US$5.36 trillion in 2025. While the potential is huge, governments in the region need to find the right key to unlock this potential and deliver projects. A ready pool of infrastructure development professionals are hence needed to take on this challenging task to design, finance, build and operate such infrastructure.

IE Singapore’s Infrastructure Development Internship (IDI) programme is the perfect opportunity for students who want to get a foot into the infrastructure space and experience what this booming industry has to offer. During these internships, students will earn from infrastructure development professionals and work on pre-assigned projects that will expose them to the opportunities and challenges presented by the infrastructure sector in Asia.

Through collaborations with industry partners across the infrastructure development value chain, students in the programme will get to apply from a range of interesting jobs and work for project developers, consultancy firms, infrastructure funds and project finance banks.

The IDI programme is open to undergraduate and post graduate students from Accounting, Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Law and Project Management disciplines.
