IIMPACT 2016 – RE
The theme for IIMPACT 2016 - Re: will be about redefining the Future of Happiness. It will be a departure from the usual humdrum of suits and ties talking numbers and strategies. We will Revisit the collective pursuit of happiness that shapes each individual’s circle of professional work, circle of personal life and circle of societal impact. Re will be a place of awe, a zone of wonder, a sense of discomfort and an urgency to act.
IIMPACT - PHILOSOPHY AND HISTORY
The Pan-IIM Alumni Group, Singapore Alumni will host the 8th edition of IIMPACT on April 8th /9th, 2016. The event brings together thought leaders from all walks with a common theme of igniting minds and shaping ideas
IIMPACT was born in 2005, with the efforts of a small team of dedicated Singapore based alumni. In its early days, IIMPACT served as a forum for interaction between prominent alumni and national leaders. It counted on then President Mr. S. R. Nathan and Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Tharman Shanmugrathnam amongst its patrons and supporters Over the years, the event has steadily captured the imagination of alumni across the world with its unique, different way of looking at the issues that confront us every day. It has showcased people who have thought and acted differently, those who have had the courage to delve deep into uncharted territory and those who have shrugged off the worst of adversity and come out on top. IIMPact has attracted participation from all walks - government, business, social entrepreneur, philanthropists and thinkers. The common theme is to inspire and lead change - to ignite minds and shape ideas.
