Mexico continues to be one of the promising global emerging markets, spurred by national improvements to its business environment, sound macroeconomic management and continued investment growth. Stressing business-friendly conditions necessary for growth, Colombia leapfrogged other Latin American countries to become the region’s most business-friendly country, according to World Bank report Doing Business 2015.
 
Currently, there are some 40 Singapore companies operating in Mexico, spanning a wide spectrum of industries including the hospitality industry, manufacturing for the automotive, consumer electronics and medical sectors, master planning of townships, supplying of equipment and services in the O&G industry, the provision of urban solutions such as water and wastewater management.
