Companies can no longer rely solely on traditional forms of marketing to fully capture the attention of their customers. Digital media has become so intertwined in our daily lives and people are no longer satisfied with cookie-cutter marketing messages and offerings.
This editon of the iAdvisory Exchange will provide companies with an opportunity to lean from other companies which have succeeded in the digital sphere. Participants will also get the opportunity to network with other participants embarking on their own digital marketing journey, with subject experts sharing their perspective of how to be an effective digital marketer.
Participants can choose between the following breakout discussions:
1) Making the shift to m-commerce for international consumers
M-commerce growth is outpacing e-commerce growth. Between 2013 and 2016, the average annual growth rate for mobile commerce over 22 countries surveyed is projected to be 42 percent, toppling e-commerce’s same growth rate at 13 percent. In a time where mobile penetration is growing significantly, consumers, especially young adults have a “mobile-first” mindset. M-commerce is set to grow in most parts of the world and companies should not lag in this trend.
2) Digital Marketing in Southeast Asia
75% of marketing budgets in Asia are now spent on digital marketing. With internet penetration in the region growing significantly, companies can no longer rely only on traditional marketing to reach out effectively to their potential customers. This discussion will help participants understand more about how they can leverage digital marketing for their expansion and growth in Southeast Asia.
3) Maximising SEO and SEM for overseas sales
Most businesses would, at some point in time, have embarked on an SEO and/or SEM campaign to various degrees of success. Some of the key questions that will be discussed are how to use SEO and SEM effectively and how to measure the success of your campaign.Through this discussion, understand if there are differences in using this for your internationalisation versus growth for your business locally.
4) Leveraging on Social Media and online PR for your brand
Public relations are critical to building awareness and reputation as businesses expand overseas. Given the sheer number of potential customers online, social media has become an essential channel for many businesses.
This roundtable will be a discussion on how Singapore companies can apply public relations and social media strategies as a tool to amplify your online presence and engage potential customers.
