About the Speakers
Mr David Lewis is the Head of the Transaction Advisory Group in KPMG Tax Corporation Japan. He specializes in transaction based tax advisory work, with areas expertise in real estate, healthcare and renewable energy.
He has provided assistance to a large number of foreign investors, real estate clients, renewable energy funds and investors, hospital groups investing in Japan and Asia. His work includes structuring of investments and advice on setting up foreign funds, due diligence on potential acquisitions, securitization and financing advice, tax compliance and assistance in tax audits and negotiations with the tax authorities
David also sits on the real estate international steering committee and is also the Head of Infrastructure for KPMG Tax in Asia.
Mr Kenjiro Hosomizu is a Senior Manager in the Transfer Pricing practice in KPMG Singapore and has over nine years experience in Transfer Pricing.
Prior to joining KPMG Singapore, Kenjiro worked for over eight years in KPMG Japan’s Transfer Pricing practice. He joined KPMG Singapore in January 2012, to develop and support KPMG’s Transfer Pricing service offering for multi-national companies in the Asian region.
His project experience covers a range of projects such as transfer pricing risk analysis and planning, transfer pricing documentation and transfer pricing audit defence, as well as assistance with competent authority negotiation / bilateral advance pricing agreements involving Singapore, the United States, China, Thailand, and Japan.
