Housing Journey Youth Panel
1. Background
Homeownership remains an important life aspiration for many youths. The Housing Journey Youth Panel provides youth with a platform to engage directly with the government, to share your perspectives and experiences on your housing journey and co-create outreach efforts to other youths.
This initiative is jointly organised by the Housing & Development Board (HDB), the National Youth Council (NYC), and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) in support of the SG Youth Plan.
2. Programme Offering
The programme brings together about 40 youths to share their perspectives on public housing and help shape how housing information and support is communicated to their peers.
This panel offers opportunities to:
- Participate in dialogue and learning journeys to gain a better understanding of HDB’s policies and support available for homebuyers
- Share your experience in navigating HDB’s digital platforms for information
- Co-create ideas to shape housing-related communications and digital experiences
- Learn from fellow panel members’ experiences and expertise, and network with like-minded peers
- Continue contributing to youth engagement on public housing through HDB and/or NYC to help fellow youths learn more about public housing and the homeownership journey
Appointed members will receive a certificate of participation upon successful completion of the panel term, planned for January to September 2027.
3. Programme Schedule
The tentative dates for the engagement sessions are as follows:

4. Eligibility
The panel is open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents aged 18 to 35 years old. Applicants should be interested in housing matters and contributing ideas on how the homeownership journey can be improved for Singaporeans, and intend to buy an HDB flat for yourself in the future.
You should be willing to participate actively, share your perspectives, and contribute constructively to discussions.
