Housing Australia will hold a series of Additional Information Sessions and Technical Briefings for eligible applicants and other interested parties.  

These sessions build on the 18 January 2024 Housing Australia Future Fund Facility (HAFFF) and National Housing Accord Facility (NHAF) Information Session. 

The purpose of these sessions is to continue to build market understanding of the opportunities available in Funding Round One, address questions arising from Eligible Applicants and other interested parties and provide technical guidance for completing the application form and returnable schedules.  

This invitation includes a session overview and schedule of dates and times, which can be found below. 

Those wishing to attend a session must register in advance. Details of session locations or online links to join will be provided by return email. 

A video recording from all online sessions will be made available on the Housing Australia Portal. Housing Australia encourages Eligible Applicants with questions about Funding Round One to submit these through the Housing Australia Portal.  

Housing Australia is not able to discuss any project-specific or applicant-specific matters.

To provide a summary of the Call for Applications and Commercial Framework. 

To receive and respond to questions. Housing Australia will provide responses to questions where the response is in the public domain. Other questions will be responded to in writing at a later date and made available in the Housing Australia Portal.


 

Information sessions may be useful for organisational leaders, senior executives and Board members to understand the overall approach to the First Funding Round and Commercial Framework. 

In-person sessions are organised in selected locations. Sessions will include a general session and a dedicated session for Eligible Applicants who are Charitable organisations. 

One online general session. 

One online session specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander providers. 

Recordings will be available on the Housing Australia Portal.

Technical Briefing:
Using the Housing Australia Portal

A virtual ‘walk-through’ of the Housing Australia Portal to demonstrate how to complete and lodge an application.

People involved in preparing applications and using the Housing Australia Portal.

Technical Briefing: Financial Returnable Schedules  

To provide an explanation of the Proforma Financial Model and a demonstration of its use in various commercial scenarios. 

Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) and commercial advisors to eligible applicants. 

People involved in preparing applications or providing advice to applicants.

Technical Briefing: Funding Framework Agreements

An outline of the Commercial Framework and final Funding Documents, including commentary on the feedback received through the consultation process held between 18 December 2023 and 22 January 2024.

CFOs, commercial and legal managers, and any commercial and legal advisors to Eligible Applicants. 

People involved in preparing applications or providing advice to applicants in respect of the Applications and Funding Documents.

A recording will be available on the Housing Australia Portal.
