As part of the localised effort to encourage local community to embrace digitalisation and in partnership with IMDA, SDO, Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), LDR Technology and Corporate Alliance for Good, Heartland Gems @ South West aims to encourage residents to learn new digital skills and rediscover key attractions of Bukit Gombak Heartlands and the various culinary delights through a curated interactive digital trail using Augmented Reality (AR) and QR Codes through mobile applications on smartphones.
To signify the launch of the programme, approximately 40 seniors Fei Yue SAC and REACH Community Services are invited to experience the AR and QR Trail, accompanied by SDO’s Digital Ambassadors and youth volunteers from ITE College West and Boys Brigade from Swiss Cottage Secondary School.
