The Geylang Serai Film Festival (GSFF) is an inspirational event bringing together all storytellers and artists in Singapore, to showcase their creativity through short films.
To encourage members of the public to explore the colourful landscape and livelihood of Geylang Serai Precinct through story-telling and videography works.
PART 1
An open call to create a 5 minutes film with all exterior scenes to be shot within the Geylang Serai Precinct. Open Category – Open to individuals and groups of all ages (CLOSED).
PART 2
The top two winners will be commissioned to produce a 30mins film. To include cultural performances elements and scenes, terms and regulations of the short film competition apply. The two short films will be showcased in a premiere organized by WGS and Hue & M.
Due to COVID-19 SMM, the premiere will be held for invited guests only. Public viewers can catch the 5-mins open call submissions on Wisma Geylang Serai Facebook event page of Geylang Serai Film Festival, and two winners films on WGS Facebook page.
