Fernvale CC WEC Floral Arrangement Contest 2022

Rules and Regulations

• Open to Fernvale Residents aged 13 and above.
• Maximum one registration per household.
• Only pre-registered participants will be allowed to enter the event site.
• The time allocated for the floral arrangement competition is 2 hours and participants must complete the arrangement within the stipulated time (2 hours).
• Participant to arrive 15 minutes earlier for registration and there will be no time extension given to any participants.
• Participants are not allowed to bring along any partially completed or ready made segments for any of their arrangements.
• No photographs, books or sketches to be used by participants during the competition.
• Floral arrangements are to be done individually without any assistance or coaching.
• Participants should ensure that their respective work area is clean and tidy at all times and all leftover flowers, foliage, etc. should be collected and disposed of by the participants after completing their arrangements.
• Judging will be based on overall presentation 50% and harmony of colours and use of materials 50%.
• Organising Committee reserve the right to amend or replace the prizes without prior notifications.
• Decisions made by judges appointed by the Organising Committee will be final. 
• Participants need to follow any prevailing Covid-19 safe management rules as applicable at that time, including being fully vaccinated and mask-on at all times during the competition. 
• Strictly no intermingling with other participants. Any violation will result in disqualification. 
• By participating in the event, you are deemed to have accepted the rules and regulations as set by the organising committee and also fully indemnify the Organising Committee against any loss or damage or safety issues.
• Participants acknowledge that the event will be recorded and/or participants photographs would be taken on site. By participating in the competition, you authorise event organisers to use the videos and photos for publishing on Fernvale CC WEC social media or other channels as necessary.
