June was a significant month. Not in a press-release way, in the sense that several things came together that point toward where the events industry is actually heading, and what the infrastructure supporting it needs to look like.
This is a good moment to zoom out.

The thread connecting everything

The four stories we covered this month aren't separate announcements. They're different expressions of the same shift: the events industry is moving from execution to intelligence. From running events well to understanding what they produce, proving their value, and building meaningfully on what was learned.
That shift has been visible for a while. What's different now is that the infrastructure to support it is finally arriving and the pieces are starting to connect.

The Gevme Event Intelligence Ecosystem
We launched the ecosystem this month — built around the full lifecycle of every event, across every stakeholder who shapes it. Run the event. Host the event. Prove the event. Most event tech serves one of those layers. This serves all three.
Every event is the start of the next one.

The IcebergHub

The Iceberg Charity Trust launched the IcebergHub at IMEX Frankfurt — making more than 9,600 curated industry sources searchable for the first time. Gevme is a founding partner. Because we believe the industry's most important advocacy work depends on its ability to access and use its own evidence.
