We are proud to bring you the 4th National Conference on Construction Adjudication (NCCA) to be held on 23 May 2025.

Jointly organised by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC). This Conference, fittingly held on the 20th Anniversary of the Security of Payment Act 2004 (SOP Act), will traverse a broad canvas of diverse topics that is bound to be of interest to all stakeholders in the construction industry, such as developers, contractors, suppliers, consultants and construction lawyers, including a necessary shift towards a more collaborative way of contracting.

Programme:
The 4th NCCA will host some of foremost construction law practitioners and Built Environment industry professionals to provide insights to the following:
 
  • Key Milestones in Adjudication in the last 20 years
  • Developments in Security of Payment adjudication in the Region
  • How has the SOP Act served the Construction Industry?
  • Latest Developments in Adjudication and their implications
  • The Future of Dispute Resolution: Evolution or Revolution

The Conference will end with a light-hearted debate on how “Lawyers should be banned from conducting adjudications”
