Bukit Merah CC WEC - Standard First Aid Awareness Course (Child and Infant Focus)
This is a half-day course to equip participants with basic first aid skills and knowledge to attend to medical emergency for children and infant.
The course will cover topics such as First Aid Treatment for suffocation, strangulation, drowning, breathing diffculties, circulatory system in a child (e.g. shock, severe bleeding, nosebleed, mouth wound cuts and grazes etc.), common illness for children and medical protocols in handling emergencies.
The participants will also be given the oppunity to have hands-on practice on simple dressing and bandaging as well as simplified CPR+AED on children.
- 4-hour Standard First Aid + AED Awarness Course (Including theory & practical)
- Certificate of participation will be rewarded after the course
- For Singapore Citizens or PRs aged 14 years old an above
- Fully subsidised course
