♦ Connecting: Effective Teaching for Twenty-first Century Learners
Presented by Dr. Kevin Washburn, Clerestory Learning
Technology creates possibilities that prompt shifts in effective teaching practices. As teachers become learning coaches, students become self-directed learners. Though effective coaching has always been part of good teaching, it gains influence and importance when technology enters the classroom. What does effective 21st century classroom instruction look like? How do we effectively utilize technology in the learning process and as a contributing means within a relevant instructional design? Through active engagement, this workshop presents and models technology-influenced instructional approaches that are applicable to any grade level and discipline.
