Most people believe that Chinese firms are interested only in making money, but more and more firms in China are showing to the world that popular perceptions are not always true. As a researcher in the field of business leadership, Professor Fu wishes to share some cases of successful Chinese private enterprises that focus on humanistic care and employee education in their operations.

Professor Fu Ping Ping


imagePing Ping Fu (Ph.D., State University of New York at Albany) is an associate professor of management at the School of Business of the Chinese University of Hong Kong where she teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Principles of Management, Human Resource management, Negotiation and Global Leadership.  She has developed and taught courses in those disciplines at the undergraduate, MBA and EMBA levels, as well as for various large corporations in Mainland China and Hong Kong, including China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom and Manulife (International) Limited.

This free lecture is presented by the HEAD Foundation, a Singapore-based think-tank devoted to research and policy advice in the fields of higher education and societal development in Asia.
