Borrowers often assume that they have limited influence on the outcome of negotiating terms within loan agreement with the lenders. They generally feel that lenders do not understand the perspectives of borrowers nor feel the need to amend clauses of loan agreements by default. This however is not true, as parties involved in the negotiating process more than often propose significant reasons, be it due to financial or corporate considerations that prove difficult to ignore and often find a compromised acceptability with the lenders eventually. Hence pre-contract preparations and strategic negotiations are essential in shaping the overall loan agreement outcome.

This 2-part webinar will provide delegates with a comprehensive overview of key legal and commercial issues to be considered when negotiating loan agreements from the viewpoint of both lender and borrower.
