Home Team Day 2025

The Home Team Day is an annual event for the Home Team (HT) to commemorate the launch of the Home Team concept, which was first announced on 24 February 1997 by then-Minister for Home Affairs, Mr Wong Kan Seng. This concept emphasises that while each Department in MHA has its specific roles, we share the common mission of keeping Singapore safe and secure, and the need to tackle our challenges in an integrated manner.

The event aims to reaffirm the unwavering commitment of Home Team officers, including HT National Servicemen (HTNS) and volunteers, to maintaining the safety and security of Singapore. While Home Team Day celebrates these officers, it also serves as an opportunity to reinforce the core values of ‘Honour’ and ‘Unity’, strengthening their resonance to the Home Team.
