About the programme
The Climate Youth Development Programme (CYDP) aims to bring together youth who are passionate about environmental sustainability and climate change issues and want to create a positive impact within their communities. Find out more here: https://go.gov.sg/cydp2026-factsheet
What you will gain
Through this programme, you will get a chance to:
- Be equipped with knowledge and/or soft skills that enable you to contribute more constructively to the environmental sustainability and climate change space;
- Gain access to signature events and dialogues with stakeholders on environmental sustainability and climate change issues that are offered by the Government and its partners; and
- Collaborate with like-minded peers to drive ground-up action and raise awareness on environmental sustainability and climate change issues with the general population.
Programme committment
- Induction Week [Compulsory]
- Week One: 25 - 27 June 2026
- Venue: Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, 382 Havelock Road, Singapore 169629
- Week Two: 3 - 4 July 2026
- Venue: Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium by IHG, 317 Outram Road, Singapore 169075
During the Induction Week, you will get to engage in dialogue with policymakers and industry experts, go on exclusive learning journeys, and get to know fellow youth with diverse interests in the environmental sustainability and climate space.
- Post-Induction activities
After the Induction Week, you will continue to participate in the specially-curated Post-Induction activities from August 2026 to February 2027 to further broaden your knowledge and networks in the environmental sustainability and climate space. More details of the post-Induction Week activities will be made available to successful applicants.
After the programme
Upon completion of the programme, you will be part of the Climate Youth Community and be offered opportunities to take part in various leadership development platforms. You will also be supported with the resources to kick-start ground-up projects or be involved in existing community initiatives to complement policy efforts.
