15TH COLLEGE OF OBSTETRICIANS & GYNAECOLOGISTS, SINGAPORE LECTURE & DINNER
The College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, Singapore, (COGS) will be organizing our 15th Lectureship Dinner on Saturday, 4 August 2018. The Guest-of-Honour will be the Master of Academy of Medicine, Singapore, Dr S R E Sayampanathan.
The 15th College of O & G Lectureship is an annual Lectureship of the College to give recognition to eminent local O&G doctors, who have made enormous contributions in the field of O & G.
This year, we have the pleasure of inviting Professor Alan W. Flake, a Fetal Surgeon at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Professor Alan Flake will be giving a lecture on "Baby in the Bag - The Artificial Womb".
Professor Alan Flake is the Professor of Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Director, Center for Fetal Research and is also the Ruth M. and Tristram C. Colket Jr. Endowed Chair, Pediatric Surgery.
His cutting edge research is in creating a “bio bag” to support premature babies, potentially improving prognosis and mortality of these vulnerable ones.
Come to be inspired and also for an evening of friendship and camaraderie!
