OVERVIEW
Less than 10% of the boards of publicly listed companies in Asian countries are female. While 40 to 50% of the female population are in the workforce, they are mostly in low-paying jobs. Even as the world experiences ever more challenges, we are under-utilising half of the world's creative potential. All this motivated Prof. Khoo to educate women to become leaders. She will share her experiences and lessons learnt in starting a women’s university in Bangladesh, and her vision for another in Southeast Asia.
