The ITS World Congress (ITSWC) is a platform for our local transport and ITS practitioners to leverage on to participate in more overseas tenders and projects. At the same time, the participation in Montreal’s Smart City Pavilion will help to showcase Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives and solutions and position Singapore as a thought-leader in the transportation technology arena. This would garner more interest from overseas companies seeking opportunities to test-bed and invest further into the local Singapore ITS scene as well as open doors for for partnership and collaboration opportunities between the local and foreign players. It would also lead to more participation when Singapore hosts the ITSWC in 2019.
