Speak Mandarin Campaign Family Talent Competition 2019 (2019 年讲华语运动亲子才艺比赛)
ABOUT THE EVENT
The Speak Mandarin Campaign Family Talent Competition is a nationwide competition for all Singaporean and Singapore Permanent Resident Parents to have fun while learning and using Mandarin with their children. Since it's inauguration in 2013, the competition has grown from strength to strength with more families taking part every year. Many parents are happy that the experience has brought them closer to their children, and they also appreciate how Mandarin has become a language of everyday communication within the family.

PRELIMINARY ROUND DETAILS
The Preliminary Round will be taking place on Saturday, 6 April 2019.

SESSION 1 (CAT B & CAT C)
Date: Saturday, 6 April 2019
Reporting Time: 7.30am
Competition will take place between 8.30am to 10.30am

SESSION 2 (CAT A & CAT C)
Date: Saturday, 6 April 2019
Reporting Time: 10.00am
Competition will take place between 10.00am to 1.00pm

REGISTRATION:
Registration Counter at Level 1, located near the school’s canteen.
Note:
- Please be punctual. Latecomers may be disqualified.
- The Preliminary Round is a closed-door session. Only 1 accompanying family member will be permitted into the session for video recording. All accompanying family members are to proceed to the designated waiting area.
- Kindly note that the organisers will NOT be providing video recordings after the event.
- Participants may be required to remove footwear when entering the Competition Rooms.
- Participants may leave after presenting their performance piece.

- By public transport: Please take Bus Number 269 at Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange and alight at Blk 170 Bus Stop. Walk to Gate 1A.
- By car: Please drive by Street 13 and enter through Gate 1A.

登记:
请到一楼的登记处（学校食堂附近）报到。
须注意事项：
- 请准时报到，迟到者将可能被取消参赛资格。
- 初赛将以闭门的形式进行，只允许一位陪同的家人入场进行录像的拍摄。其他陪同到场的家人须前往等候区等候。
- 比赛主办方将不会提供初赛的录像。
- 参赛者或须先脱鞋才可入场。
- 参赛者在表演结束后可直接离开，无须逗留。

交通指示
- 公共交通：从宏茂桥巴士转换站乘搭269号巴士， 在大牌170组屋下车，步行到圣尼各拉女校1A 校门。
- 自行驾驶： 从宏茂桥13街进入圣尼各拉女校1A 校门。比赛当天只有1A校门将会开放给公众进出。抵达后， 请跟着指示牌前往一楼的登记处报到。
REGISTRATION CRITERIA
Registration dateline extended till 28 February 2019!
Please note registration criteria as follows:
- All participants must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
- There are three categories in this Competition. If there is more than 1 child participating, please register the elder/eldest child as the Main Child Participant.
(A) Category A: For families with Main Child Participant in Kindergarten Level 1 and 2.
(B) Category B: For families with Main Child Participant in Primary 1 and 2.
(C) Category C: For families with Main Child Participant in Primary 3 to 6.
- Performance of participating children below 5 years of age will not be graded during judging.
参赛规则：
报名截止日期已延期至2019年2月28日！
- 所有参赛者必须是新加坡公民或新加坡永久居民。
- 比赛共分三个组别。若有多过一名孩童参赛，请以年龄较大的孩童为主要参赛孩童。
A组：主要参赛孩童为幼稚园一或二年级的学生。
B组：主要参赛孩童为小学一或二年级的学生。
C组： 主要参赛孩童为小学三至六年级的学生。
- 参赛孩童若年龄小于5岁，他们的表演将不被纳入评审考量内。
