OTC has been regarded as the world’s leading offshore oil and gas trade fair. OTC 2014 saw a record high attendance of 108,300 visitors and 2,568 exhibitors occupying 680,025sf of exhibition area. The decline in oil prices impacted the visitors attendance in recent years, but the industry's participation in OTC remained strong. OTC 2016 was participated by some 2,670 companies from 47 countries occupying a total space of 672,300 sf and recorded an attendance of 68,000 visitors.
