Tradeshows are a very important way to bring your products overseas, to find new customers, new partners and even brand new markets for your business to expand and Singapore companies are increasingly participating in international tradeshows. However, many do not maximise their time at tradeshows.

This workshop will help you ensure that you are well prepared for the tradeshow through advanced planning. Mr Justin Fong, Principal Consultant of C W Fong & Associates
Justin is the Principal Consultant of CW Fong & Associates and currently leads a team that manages the social media campaigns of close to 20 local SMEs. Besides providing strategic counsel in branding and publicity, Justin also assist individuals (i.e. local celebrities and high-profile court cases) and MNCs in the area of reputation management. During his military career, Justin successfully led communication teams in major incidences and events, at both the national level and international levels, to protect the reputation of the Singapore Armed Forces and the Republic of Singapore.

To stay current and professionally updated on developments in social media and crisis communications, Justin spends 20% of his time researching and writing and his works have been published in leading HR magazines, professional.
 

Mr Mervin Yeo, Networking trainer
A serial entrepreneur since 1996, Mervin has co-owned numerous businesses like employment, publishing, business consulting and social enterprise. Hailed a "Networking Guru" by a Straits Times reporter, he has been on NewsRadio 93.8 including The Living Room and Positive Business Minutes and was featured in Zaobao and SME Magazine. A contributing author in the New York Times best-seller Masters of Networking, he is consulted by leaders of networking organisations. A Certified Behavioural and Career Consultant, he is author of Purposeful Networking for Introverts.

Under his 13-year leadership as the Singapore National Director of the world’s largest networking organisation, members passed referrals which generated an annual average of US$20 million worth of business for each other. Over the last 15 years, Mervin has shown thousands of business owners and marketing professionals in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines a systematic and effective approach to generating referral business.


Mr Ong Chun Teck, COO, Sugar Technologies Pte Ltd
Prior to taking up the role of COO with Sugar Technologies, Chun Teck was the Group Business Director for Strategic Media Alliance Network – an Integrated Marketing Solutions company. During his time in SMAN, he brought together a Media Strategy and Buying agency, Events agency and PR agency to design and execute marketing solutions for their clients.

Chun Teck was also previously General Manager with Cityneon Event Management Division.  His work includes Singapore Science Festival 2013, Dinosaurs Live! Exhibition in Malaysia, Singapore Humanitarian Awards, booths at CommunicAsia and SmartKids Asia, Learning Fest, Comex, SITEX, PC Show and SMART Expo.
