Hi,

One win says a product had a good year.

Four in a row says something harder to manufacture. It means the thing held up while formats changed, budgets tightened and expectations moved. Luck does not repeat on that schedule.

On 30 July, Gevme was named Event Tech Application of the Year at the Singapore MICE Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

We want to talk about the second half of that sentence rather than the first.

Event Tech Application of the Year. Again.

What four consecutive years measures is endurance. The platform held across four cycles of shifting formats, tighter budgets, heavier compliance expectations and rising attendee standards. Nothing about that period was stable, and the product had to keep being the right answer anyway.

We are not going to pretend that feels routine. It does not.

But the honest version is that the award belongs to the people running events on this platform. Every awkward edge case you reported, every workflow you told us was slower than it should be, every request you followed up on twice. That feedback is the roadmap. It has been for four years. Thank you.

Recognition is pleasant. Shipping is the job.

The same season the award was announced, the Summer Release went live.

Gevme Summer Release 2026. Operations Simplified. Impact Amplified.

Most event technology conversations right now are about intelligence. What a platform can predict, generate and recommend. Worth having. But intelligence layered on clumsy operations only produces faster clumsiness.

So this release went after the operational layer first, across both Registration and Omnichannel, and then went somewhere the industry has been stuck for a long time.

Run more events without adding more people

Smarter event management. The redesigned Event Listing Interface surfaces status, dates and attendee counts without opening each event. Search, filter and sort across large portfolios. Mark frequent events as favourites. Jump straight into Attendees and Orders from the listing. Export listing data for reporting. Oversee events across multiple organisations from one place.

Social sharing controls. Configure the Open Graph title, description, image and image URL for your event pages, so a link shared on LinkedIn, WhatsApp or X looks intentional rather than accidental.

Automatic event archiving. Completed events move out of the main view on their own. They stay fully accessible for reporting and reference. Your active list stays the list of things that need you.

Secure hosted checkout. A faster, cleaner payment journey for attendees, with stronger authentication and fraud protection behind it, built on infrastructure designed for what payment requirements turn into next.

Make onsite measurable instead of anecdotal

Physical meeting tracking. Scheduled meetings are a plan. Participants can now confirm whether an onsite meeting actually took place, which turns business matching from a number you hoped for into a number you can report.

Attendee schedule management. One central place to review individual meeting programmes, search and filter across attendees, export operational data, generate per-attendee itineraries and account for planned breaks.

Check-in based access control. Access rights that respond to check-in status, so who can reach which pages, content and experiences follows real onsite behaviour rather than a manual list.

Self check-in customisation. Control the Search button typography on the Self Check-In Welcome Screen and preview changes before they go live, so the first branded thing an attendee touches looks considered.

Read those eight items and notice what they have in common. Not one asks your team to learn a new discipline. Every one takes something you already do and makes it take less time.

The evidence problem, finally addressed

The ninth item in this release is not a feature. It is a platform.

IcebergHub, launched in partnership with The Iceberg Charity Trust, is an AI powered advocacy and knowledge platform.

Here is the problem it exists for. Business events create economic value, advance knowledge, strengthen communities and produce real social outcomes. Almost everyone in this industry believes that. Almost nobody can prove it quickly, because the evidence sits scattered across reports, case studies, congress outcomes, videos and industry publications.

IcebergHub brings together more than 440 curated industry sources. You ask a question in natural language and get a relevant, cited answer in seconds.

That matters if you are preparing a destination bid, building a policy case, demonstrating a congress legacy, or sitting across from a funder who wants a number rather than a conviction.

It also marks where Gevme is going. Beyond helping you manage registration, engagement and onsite experience, into helping the industry prove what its events are actually worth.

Operations simplified. Impact amplified. The second half of that line is the harder one, and it is the one we are most interested in.

The trophy goes on a shelf. The release goes into your next event.

If you have ever sent us a bug report, argued with us about a workflow, or told us plainly that something was slower than it should be, some part of this week belongs to you.

Keep doing it. It is the only reason any of this gets better.

We will be in your inbox every Tuesday.
