Hi,

June was a lot. A new ecosystem. A new industry knowledge platform. A new way to turn live event content into branded assets in real time. A webinar on prompting craft that filled up faster than we expected.
If Q1 was about building the operational foundation, registration, onsite, referrals, APIs and Q2 was about proving what's possible when those things connect, then Q3 is the chapter where things get genuinely interesting.
We're not quite ready to say everything. But we can tell you the direction.

What Q2 was really about

The Spring updates we shipped weren't glamorous. Abandoned cart recovery. Flexible promo controls. Faster attendee search. Session capacity management. Onsite record editing. API enhancements.
None of these made for dramatic headlines. But they mattered because they addressed the problems event teams were actually running into, the friction that lives between "everything looks fine in planning" and "everything is on fire on the day."
An abandoned registration that never gets a follow-up. A check-in queue that builds because a name can't be found quickly. A promo code that can't be adjusted without a developer. A third-party integration that requires a week of custom work.
These aren't exotic problems. They're the ones that quietly drain energy, trust, and conversion from events that should have been straightforward.
Q2 fixed the friction. That work is done and it's live. The Spring updates are in your account now.

Q2 2026 — What Shipped This Spring

A quick recap of everything that went live across the platform:

  • Abandoned cart recovery — Automated follow-up sequences for registrants who dropped off mid-form, triggered at the right moment, configurable without developer involvement

  • Flexible promo and discount controls — Early bird pricing, group rates, time-limited offers, and custom codes, all adjustable in real time from the dashboard

  • Referral and personalization tools — Personalized referral links, incentive customization, referral performance dashboard, and automated outreach triggers by segment

  • Onsite feature upgrades — Fast attendee search, real-time session capacity management, onsite record editing, and staff role controls built for live event pace

  • API and integration enhancements — Expanded endpoint coverage, webhook improvements, custom field API support, and pre-built third-party integration templates

  • Cross-journey reporting — Registration, onsite, and post-event data connected in a single report, with attendee engagement scoring and session performance analytics

A note before we get to what's next

Last week, Gevme was named a finalist for Event Tech Application of the Year at the Singapore MICE Awards 2026. We don't lead with awards — but this one felt worth mentioning, because it reflects something real. The MICE industry in Singapore has been a proving ground for a lot of what we've built. The recognition matters less than what it points to: the teams running complex, high-stakes events in this region trust Gevme to hold up under pressure. That trust is what we build toward.

What the Summer Release is about

Here's what we can say.
Q2 made events easier to run. The Summer Release makes them smarter to learn from.
The Spring updates were about reducing friction, the operational gaps that cost you registrations, attendees, and clean event days. The Summer Release goes further. It's about what happens when the data your events generate stops being a reporting exercise and starts being a genuine advantage.
We're not ready to share the full picture yet. But if the question you keep asking after your events is some version of "we know what happened, but we still don't know why" that's the direction we're heading.
There's more coming. We'll have the full Summer Release details in an upcoming issue.
Until then — if there's a feature or fix you'd want to see in a summer event tech release, we're genuinely listening.
