GEVME

Hi ,

For the 51st issue of our weekly newsletter, we dive into the environmental benefits of virtual events.

A comparison of a 6-hour virtual event and an in-person equivalent found that the emissions of the physical version were 66 times higher than the virtual event based on air travel alone. With virtual events, there is also less waste being generated from over-ordering food and printing of marketing collaterals.

As more people start attending events physically again, this raises the question of how virtual components can be used to make events more sustainable. We’ll be sharing more on the topic as part of our partnership with Eco-Business. Read on to know more.
