The Annual Dinner dinner brings together Alumni, Friends, Corporate Sponsors and guests in an evening of support for Columbia Business School. Each year, the event raises more than $3 Million in unrestricted support providing sources for curriculam development, financial aid, faculty research and he day-to-day operations of the school. The school has a ongstanding tradition of recognizing two exceptional leaders at the Annual Dinner with awards in both government and business.

Mario J. Gabelli '67 is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GAMCO Investors, Inc., and LICT Corp.

Mr. Gabelli is a summa cum laude graduate of Fordham University and holds an MBA degree from Columbia Business School and honorary doctorate degrees from Roger Williams University and Fordham University.

Mr. Gabelli is a member of the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School and the Board of Trustees of Boston College and Roger Williams University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of The American-Italian Cancer Foundation and the Foundation for Italian Art and Culture. He is a Trustee of The Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States and the E. L. Wiegand Foundation. He is a member of The Economic Club of New York.

Mr. Gabelli was Morningstar's Portfolio Manager of the Year (1997) and Institutional Investor's Money Manager of the Year (2011) and is a member of Barron's Financial Magazine's All-Star Century Team.

General Jack Keane is the president of GSI Consulting, Inc. A four-star general, he completed 37 years of public service in 2003, culminating in his appointment as acting chief of staff and vice chief of staff of the US Army.

General Keane serves as chairman of the Institute for the Study of War and the Knollwood Foundation; is a director of MetLife, General Dynamics, the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments, and the Smith Richardson Foundation; and is a former member of the Secretary of Defense Policy Board. He is a trustee of Fordham University and the George C. Marshall Foundation, and serves as an advisor to Welcome Back Veterans and American Corporate Partners.

General Keane earned a bachelor of science degree from Fordham University and a master of arts degree from Western Kentucky University. He is a graduate of the Army War College and the Command and General Staff College.
