About the Event
Join the panel speakers in a discussion on the ways to age gracefully and happily in the 21st century.
About the Speakers:
1) Dr Philip Yap is a senior consultant geriatrician & palliative care physician in the department of geriatric medicine in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He is also an adjunct associate professor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS and adjunct clinician scientist with Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, Astar. He presently sits on the advisory panels and committees of several organizations in eldercare, including the Ministry of Health, and is a Board member of Assisi Hospice.
2) Ms Janice Chia started Ageing Asia to drive and nurture opportunities and the development of innovation and solutions that address the evolving needs of the rising ageing population in the region. Janice has also launched several industry initiatives, including, ASPIRE55 Singapore – Asia’s first virtual retirement village, a wellbeing community that offers a combination of social, health and care services, but enables members to continue living in their existing homes.
